SMALL INSTITUTIONS

We believe that good design will have a transformative effect on people's quality of life. To this end, we have worked for a series of small institutions and non-profit organizations whose missions have a social agenda.

Our work for these groups usually begins with an evaluation of their property. Through a master planning and feasibility analysis, we help our clients envision a new future for their facilities. Projects range from strategic interventions and additions to the design of new structures and landscapes, which can be catalysts for an organization's reinvention. Sometimes they are phased over time to allow for fundraising to occur.

Completed projects include transforming a long term care facility into a homeless shelter for teenage youth and a landscape master plan and interior fit-out for Outward Bound's National Headquarters.
