URBAN DESIGN

Our urban design work includes urban infrastructure projects and planning studies with a focus on housing and the use of public open space. It emphasizes direct connections between people and places woven across the urban landscape, from small scale to large scale, from front stoop to courtyard, from community allotments to green roof gardens and from Main Street to alley.

We have worked with Amtrak and the local community in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston to design a screen-wall system for the high-speed rail corridor.

We have also worked for the Boston Redevelopment Authority to produce a series of illustrations and urban design plans to help the community envision the potential development of MBTA-owned sites around the Forest Hills transit station in Jamaica Plain.
